Sony Xperia U and Xperia P Hands-on [MWC 2012]

Sony announced their NXT (no, not WWE style) series of devices here at Mobile World Congress and, as you'd expect, we were front row and center to witness it all. New entrants include the Sony Xperia U and the Sony Xperia P. These beautiful devices are not only visually pleasing to the eye, but also has some of the best technology you'll find in a smartphone. From its Bravie Engine display to its Exmor camera sensors, alongside some pretty nice internal specs, this device should appease many-a smartphone buyer.
There are some differences between the two, though. The Xperia P is a middle of the pack device but still deserves a high-end tag.

HTC One X and One V pricing and release dates for the UK

Just a few short hours have passed since HTC officially took the wraps off of its One series smartphones in Barcelona, and we already have some great news for those of you in the UK who'd like to get your hands on one. Both the HTC One X and the HTC One V can now be pre-ordered from Unlocked Mobiles. The retailer sells SIM-free and unlocked versions of these smartphones, which you can use on whichever network you please.
The HTC One X can be yours for £497.98, and it will start shipping on April 5.

Hands on with the HTC One S

. The chaos of day 0 at Mobile World Congress is finally winding down, and HTC's action-packed press conference is now behind us. The obvious star of the show was the HTC One X, but there's no denying that its mid-range counterpart packs a massive punch as well. We just spent some time putting the HTC One S through the paces and first things first: this smartphone is amazingly thin. At 7.9 millimeters, it's the thinnest smartphone HTC has ever built and it really is amazing that the company managed to pack such high-end specs into a device this slim.

. Mobile World Congress hasn't officially begun yet, but clearly someone forgot to tell HTC. The company is currently in the midst of a huge press conference during which it unveiled its new flagship “HTC One” brand. Among the devices announced is the mid-range HTC One S, the thinnest smartphone HTC has ever built. BGR exclusively revealed details surrounding the One V last November, but we're more excited about this phone than ever now that wHTC has painted the complete picture.

Sony announces Xperia P and Xperia U: Android 2.3, dual-core, 3D image capture

. We're reporting live from Sony's Mobile World Congress 2012 press conference where the company has just taken the wraps off its new Xperia P and Xperia U smartphones. The Sony Xperia U features a 3.5-inch Reality Display, 1GHz dual-core processor, and five megapixel camera capable of 2D and 3D image capture. Sony's Xperia P rocks a 4-inch “White Magic” display that Sony says offers up twice the brightness of a regular screen while still being perfectly viewable outdoors in direct sunlight. Other features include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera with HD video recording, NFC, HDMI-out, and aluminum case.
