Sharp Unveils 32″ 4K Touchscreen Monitor Compatible With OS X

We're not sure how many of you guys would need a 32" touchscreen display that will be compatible with Apple's OS X operating system, but in case you do, Sharp has announced a new 32x4K touchscreen monitor that will support Apple's OS X right out of the box. The display will feature a resolution of 3840×2160 and will utilize an IGZO LCD panel with a touch interface and pen support. The display was demonstrated during CEATEC 2013 which took place in Japan last week, and was shown running off a MacBook Pro.

When it comes to accessibility options on the iPhone, Apple has offered up a variety of options, most of which seem to be satisfactory to those with special needs, at least until iOS 7 where numerous Arabic speakers have complained that with the software update, the VoiceOver assistant seems to be doing a pretty bad job. For the visually impaired, Apple has a VoiceOver feature that basically reads out what's on the screen to tell the user what they are doing, where their finger is hovered over, and etc., ultimately allowing them to navigate their device. .

iPhone 6 Display Size Will Be 4.8 Inches [Analyst]

It was recently reported that Apple is testing a number of iPhone prototypes internally with varying display sizes up to a massive six inches, which effectively pushes the iPhone into the phablet category. Some don't expect Apple to go that high, they believe that the company would hover around 5 inches for its next iPhone. The infamous Jefferies analyst Peter Misek predicts that the iPhone 6 display size is going to be 4.8 inches. He makes the prediction in a note to investors after meeting with Apple's suppliers, who are primarily based in Asia.

LG flexible OLED smartphone display enters mass production

LG's curved display production plans are coming along nicely, as the company has officially announced today that its first flexible OLED panel for smartphones has entered mass production. The company expects a rapid success of the flexible smartphone displays saying that other products are also going to benefit from the new technology. Such candidates include tablets, automotive displays and wearable devices.
The flexible OLED display in question is 0.44mm thin making it the slimmest among existing mobile device panels, according to LG. Furthermore, the display itself is built using plastic substrates instead of glass.
