Dropbox accidently turned off password for 4 hours thanks to a bug in the new update

Thanks to a bug introduced by a code update, the entire world had access to Dropbox accounts for just under four hours. This issue was announced by Dropbox CTO Arash Ferdowsi on Monday revealed in his blog that a code update implemented on Sunday at 1:54pm PST introduced a bug that affected the service's authentication mechanism. The bug was discovered at 5:41pm PST and fixed precisely at 5:46pm. This meant that for nearly four hours, accounts were left wide open for anyone to access without a password.
According to Ferdowski, only 1-percent of its user base actually accessed their accounts during that sensitive window.

Angry Birds Seasons updated – 30 new daily levels

We forgot about Angry Birds Seasons. It's the third standalone Angry Birds title on the Android Market, and publisher Rovio has updated it today – bringing 30 new levels of simplistic trial & error physics fun to the masses in the shape of its “Summer Pignic” pack. As with previous Seasons updates, this one's locked by time – so only one new map will be available every day for the next 30 days.

HTC Evo 4G+ (Rider) leaks on its way to Korea

Last month we first heard about the existence of the HTC Rider, a smartphone that was supposedly headed to KT in Korea, and we even saw a rendered image of it. And today we get more details about it, alongside another image that kind of looks like the first one, but kind of doesn't. Anyway, the HTC Rider will be sold in Korea under the name Evo 4G+ (because “4G” just isn't enough anymore, it seems), as Rider was just its codename.
