Motorola Atrix 4G receives Gingerbread update

Motorola Atrix 4G owners will be very happy to hear that their official Gingerbread update is now available for download on their computers. This update brings Gingerbread 2.3.4 to Atrix 4G owners through Motorola's website. The update brings all of the awesome features of Gingerbread to your device such as improved web browsing, HD Video Playback, and other miscellaneous improvements. The biggest improvement to the device is the ability to sideload apps, thanks to AT&T's new policy to allow all devices to sideload.

The update comes in at 161 MBs.

White iPod Touch on the way?

If you're looking for a white iPod Touch, you might be in luck. The folks over at 9to5Mac received photographs of what is said to be the front panel of a white 4th generation iPod Touch. Since there's also no way to verify the authenticity of the panel through a photograph, there's no telling if it's real or fake. But there could be possible explanations to what this white front panel could be.
The white panel for the iPod touch could have been a panel that Apple was testing for the iPod Touch 4G but was left unreleased for unknown reasons.

Bikes on a Train: Station Dock Vends Folding Bromptons

The Brompton Dock lets you grab a folding bike and take it on the train. The Brompton Dock is a clever take on Park and Ride schemes. Instead of parking your car on the edge of town and taking the bus to the center, you rock up at a railway station, check out a Brompton folding bike and hop on the train. Then, when you reach your stop, you unfold the bike and go on your way.

The scheme is being tested by South West trains in England. 40 Bromptons are stored in a block of lockers on the platform. You swipe your membership card and take a bike. From there you get to keep it for the whole day before returning it on your way home.

AndyPad tablet pictured again, this time under better lighting conditions

We now have a couple of slightly better photos of the forthcoming AndyPad tablet, giving us a slightly better look at the 7″ Android 2.3 device than the previous shot. There's obviously not a lot more you can tell from photos of the thing, apart from…. …its case is very glossy and….
…that's where the USB lead plugs in. It's also pretty heavy on bezel. Good to see it alive and running, though. Makes fantasy scenarios of owning one easier to imagine.
