Wortmann AG has come out with a new 15.6-inch notebook, the Wortmann Terra Mobile 1529. Specs-wise, the system is packed with a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 LCD display, a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3-3110M dual-core processor, an Intel HD Graphics 4000, a 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a 2MP webcam, a DVD burner, a 9-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and runs on Windows 8 OS. Price itself is set at 620 Euro (about $790).

Droid DNA Hands-On!

So Verizon's new top-end phone is out, and one thing's for sure–this guy is a brick. It's large enough to give the Galaxy Note II a run for its money as king of the phablet hill. What's nice is that HTC has continued to use the soft-touch back we first saw on the 8X, which certainly gives the phone a premium feel. Also nice is the red speaker grilles on both portrait sides of the phone: HTC's design director said they were inspired by Lamborghini, and they do look like intake grills. But it's also nice to see on a phone. The phone is big–5 inches–but it doesn't feel as huge as say, the Galaxy Note II.

HTC Droid DNA coming to Verizon on November 21st for $200, pre-orders begin today

It's not much of a secret at this point, but HTC and Verizon have finally made their king-sized smartphone official at today's press event: the Droid DNA, which is essentially Big Red's variant of the J Butterfly released in Japan a few weeks ago, will be offered in stores and online starting the day before Thanksgiving for $200 with a two-year commitment, but early adopters will be able to pre-order their unit today.
