Some fourteen years late, Duke Nukem Forever finally came out last week to disappointing reviews, but that doesn't mean the Duke himself and his games are down for the count forever. Danish studio Interceptor Interactive have apparently been given the green light by Gearbox  Software to continue development on a high definition remake of Duke Nukem 3D, subtitled Reloaded. The game is a non-commercial project (meaning it might be released for free) and will aside from including a shiny facelift, feature voice acting from the original Duke Nukem characters as well as 16-player multiplayer deathmatches.
