Will Intel's foray into the smartphone market finally be realized in the next year or so. After today's announcement at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco of the chip maker's new partnership with Google, we say yes and will be keenly looking forward to their new products. The idea of Intel going into the smartphone scene came about ever since Intel's Atom and SOC line started getting smaller and more powerful, but through this strategic partnership with Google, it looks like Android will be optimized to take advantage of the Intel architecture.
