Cricket Wireless and Samsung have announced immediate availability for the Samsung Transfix. It's a mid-range handset aimed at the budget-conscious. If it's anything like Samsung's other mid-range phones, it should do its job well enough for the price they're asking – $180. For that, you're getting a 3.2 inch device with an 800MHz processor, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and more. A microSD card slot allows you to bring your own storage on board, expandable up to 32GB. Available in stores and at MyCricket.com.
