Microsoft's executives must be smiling from ear to ear, where their Xbox 360 was top dog in terms of sales figures where current-generation console sales in the US are concerned, outselling the second-place console by over 2.7 million units. One of the main reasons why the Xbox 360 does so well is because of its library that was peppered by hit after hit this year, going once again to show that value lies in the software, making or breaking a deal no matter how good your hardware is.
