Well, the day has come. Apple has just announced the newest iPad, called… The new iPad. Seriously. After much speculation regarding whether it will be called iPad 3 or iPad HD, Apple surprised the world and decided to just call it iPad. Which means it will be referred to as the 3rd generation iPad (much like what happens with the iPod touch line). It's up to you to decide whether you like it or not, but it looks like Apple has just ushered in the post-gadget-naming era.
