While Apple and Samsung are set to hash out their differences and hopefully come to a settlement agreement, Motorola and Microsoft are still at each other's throats and in the latest development, Motorola has won an injunction against Microsoft's Windows 7 and the Xbox 360 in Germany. The court ultimately ruled in Motorola's favor in the case of four lawsuits filed against Microsoft pertaining to alleged patent infringement that covers the H.264 video encoding standard, a format which reportedly is used by roughly 80% of all digital videos.
