Even Apple's Mac Pro desktop computers are getting the hardware upgrade, although modest at best. As introduced in WWDC, the $2,499 Mac Pro CPU tower is now packed with a single 3.2GHz quad-core Xeon processor, 6GB of RAM, and 1TB hard drive. The $3,799 model, meanwhile, gets a pair of 2.4GHz six-core processors, 12GB of RAM, and the same 1TB hard drive. Finally, the $2,999 Mac Pro Server comes with a 3.2GHz quad-core Xeon processor with 8GB of RAM and a couple of 1TB hard drives. In case you are searching for Thunderbolt ports, you won't find any.
