Maneesh Arora and Amit Sangani, former Google employees, are the developers of MightyText, an app that's similar to Apple's iMessage, except that it is an Android-focused application. Arora and Sangani wanted to give Android users the ability to view and reply to text messages no matter what device they use. They have been testing MightyText for several months with over 250,000 users, but the two are finally launching the app officially both as a web and Android app. MightyText promises to allow Android users to send and receive SMS text message from their PC.
