Jared Polis (D-Colo.) has issued a stark warning to the FTC that Congress will act to limit its power if it decides to file an antitrust lawsuit against Google (GOOG). Specifically, Polis said that the “application of antitrust against Google would be a woefully misguided step that would threaten the very integrity of our antitrust system” and that it could lead Congress to restrict the FTC's ability to file antitrust suits in the future.
