We're sure that many thought that the original Galaxy Note was a novelty device when it first launched. After all the device seemed a little too big for a handset, but yet too small for a tablet, leading many to dub it a "phablet". As it turns out the Galaxy Note held its own, leading competitors like LG to come up with their own phablet, the Optimus Vu. Well Samsung recently launched the Note's successor, the Galaxy Note 2 and if you think that phablets are still novelties, perhaps some sales figures might change your mind.
