Audioengine products may not be for sale in every retail outlet or even known by many consumers, but anyone who is looking for a pair of quality desktop speakers should give Audioengine a serious look - especially their A5+ speakers. I have owned the A5 speakers for some time, and when given a chance to try the upgraded A5+, I was curious to see what - if any - improvements were made. Let's get this out of the way: The A5+ speakers are not featherweights. They are (for desktop speakers) big, heavy and can be loud enough to introduce the neighbors to whatever unusual musical taste you may harbor.
