HTC has just posted an update on the unlocked bootloader issue which has been one  hot topic as of late. HTC's development team is hard at work and they have plans to roll out an update to the HTC Sensation in August which will unlock the phones bootloader. The HTC Sensation 4G (T-Mobile USA) and the HTC EVO 3D (Sprint) are next in line, but HTC has not given any specific time frame for the two updates. While unlocking the bootloader on a phone may sound like an easy task for a manufacturer, HTC must create new software builds for each device and do extensive testing to make sure nothing breaks along the way.
