With the Motorola Xoom 2 on the way, it isn't a surprise that the price of the original Xoom keeps on dropping. At least that's what's going on in the UK, where the Wi-Fi-only variant of this Android-powered tablet went for as much as £499.99 at one time, then saw its price plunge first by more than £100, then all the way down to £329.99 a few weeks ago. If even that seemed too expensive for you to take a dive into the Android tablet world, here's some good news. Play.com, a well established online electronics retailer, has now gone even further. It will give you a Wi-Fi Xoom if you pay only £299.99.
