AT&T is bringing its LTE magic to its subscribers in New York by the end of this year. The official confirmation came from the company's senior executive vice president and CFO John Stephens. The carrier vowed to bring LTE coverage to 70 million users in the US by the end of this month and adding the country's most populous city to the list of covered areas seems like the most logical move.
AT&T still has plenty of catching up to do, as Verizon started building its LTE network almost a full year earlier.
