Sony has recently taken the wraps off a couple of new laptops from its VAIO range which has been upgraded to Intel's Ivy Bridge processors. However if you're not willing to fork out $1,600 for the Sony VAIO Z, perhaps the VAIO S might be of interest to you at a more affordable price starting at $899.99 for the 13.3" model and $999.99 for the 15.5" model.
