Garmin Announces Monterra Android-Powered Handheld GPS

Garmin Announces Monterra Android-Powered Handheld GPS

Garmin is no stranger to offering an Android device as its attempted to dip into the Android market back in 2010 when it released its Garminfone. Since then, we haven't heard much from the company in regards to new Android devices, but today Garmin is announcing a handheld GPS which will run a version of Android called Monterra. . Seeing how it's a dedicated handheld GPS, don't expect its specs to blow you away as it'll feature a 4-inch touchscreen, 8MP camera with flash and geotag support, 1080p video capture capabilities and 6GB of internal storage with support for microSD.
