Autolib electric car sharing initiative kicks off in Paris

Autolib electric car sharing initiative kicks off in Paris

Paris is said to be one of the most romantic cities in the world, and you might opt to feel the love as Autolib introduces a unique new car sharing program that will rent out not gas guzzlers like Hummers, but rather, the earth loving, tree hugging electric vehicles (EV). This noble approach will see around 60 electric vehicles in the system that spans across ten stations throughout the city. Autolib's program is said to be the world's first electric car sharing program, where it will see the use of Lithium Metal Polymer batteries within that are manufactured by the Bollore Group.
