Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Speeds Onto Android – Take Down The Competition As Cop Or Racer

For all you fast-and-furious Android gamers out there, you may be pleased to know that EA has just released Need for Speed Hot Pursuit onto the Android Market. NFSHP gives you the choice of either playing as the racer escaping from the law, using oil slicks and overdrive to your advantage — or the po-po as you attempt to take-down law-breakers using spike strips and roadblocks to dramatic racing fashion. Hot Pursuit is a fun arcade racer taking advantage of your Android devices gyro-sensor for full tilt controls. If you're an arcade racing fan, I don't think I need to tell you that there's nothing but fun to be had here.

Samsung Galaxy S II LTE to be launched by Bell?

Samsung Galaxy S II LTE to be launched by Bell?

Already introduced by Rogers in Canada, the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE might also be released by Bell there. According to a Best Buy Canada ad (seen below), the Galaxy S II LTE should come to Bell "soon" to join the already available Galaxy S II 4G (which, of course, isn't an LTE handset, but an HSPA+ one). Mobile Syrup argues that this may be just a printing error, since Rogers said the S II LTE is its exclusive device for Canada. However, the Galaxy LTE seen as coming to Bell looks different than Rogers' version (it's similar to AT&T's Skyrocket), so we're not sure what to believe yet.

SwiftKey VIP Members Testing MultiTouch in Latest Alpha

SwiftKey, the keyboard so fast you'll wonder why OEMs can't match their product, has released a new Alpha version of the application to their VIP members. One very big feature is in the works – multitouch typing. With this functionality, you can press a key even if you already have your finger on another keyboard. MultiTouch typing means you don't have to worry about releasing your thumb entirely before pressing the next key so you can glide across the keyboard even faster.

And if you have a tablet, multi-finger (on each hand) typing should be even better once this update makes its way to the Android market.

There's no doubt that Facebook has made a huge impact on the whole world, and it's spawned quite a large number of inspired by products trying to capitalize on the Facebook brand. Latest one to join the ranks of such products is a new beverage called, you guessed it, Facedrink. Touted as a drink that “gives you social energy”, Facedrink is said to help power you through your daily life - be it sports, school, work or just getting through the day. Other than the blue and white color scheme of the bottle's design and name, there's really nothing Facebook-ish about the product.

Fylus Stick-On Stylus Tips for Your Fingers

The Fylus is a small circular stick-on stylus tip that is made of a conductive material that is compatible with devices that have a capacitive display like the iPad and iPhone. It has been designed to help aid accuracy when using your fingers to select and enter data on touch screen devices. I usually don't have any issues with accuracy when I use my fingers with my devices. But I live with someone who can't use a touch screen to save her life, so I can see how this product could be somewhat useful.

Top Gear's Top 40 series headed for your TV, America

Please note: This is your one and only warning to set your DVR. You have until Monday, November 28, at 8:00 pm. That's when BBC America will air the world premiere of the newest Top Gear spin-off: Top Gear Top 40. Now we might normally be a bit critical of a television series that advertises itself as a greatest hits pastiche. In some ways, it kind of reminds us of those terrible sitcom episodes they used to slap together all the time back in the '80s, with characters "remembering" bits from old episodes. But this is different. This is Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond doing what they do best.
