Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta On PS3

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta On PS3

If you happen to own the Sony PS3, then get this – fans of the Final Fantasy series will be pleased to hear that the beta of the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is now available, and Square Enix, in a way, has said that they will not be sparing any expense in delivering the most memorable elements of the series into A Realm Reborn. There will definitely be subsequent patches of the title, where the Square Enix team intends to throw in more great stuff into the mix, and it would not be too hard to do considering how Final Fantasy has a quarter of a century's worth of history to draw from.

Gorgeous Disco Volante returning to Geneva a runner

One year after bringing the super stylish and unforgettably named Disco Volante to the Geneva Motor Show as a styling exercise, coachbuilders Touring Superleggera have got a followup to get excited about. This year's version of the slinky Disco will come complete with Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione running gear – 4.7-liter V8 engine and all. We've got just the one teaser image of the car, above, which obviously serves to highlight the fact that this Disco Volante is no hollow shell.

Chrysler 100 hatchback caught cruising around Santa Monica

A coming hatchback said to be called the Chrysler 100 has been caught on video traipsing around Santa Monica by Autoblog reader Zach Dillman. Still wearing the scrapyard assemblage of Alfa Romeo Giulietta body panels as it was when spy photographers began capturing it last summer, its arrival date is still a question mark: some outlets have reported that it will go on sale this year, others have said it won't be in showrooms until 2016. In fact, quite a few questions remain.

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?

When are stripes more than just stripes. Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight. This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport. The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model.

PS4 Will Allow Used Games To Be Playable

PS4 Will Allow Used Games To Be Playable

A rumor spread like wildfire earlier this month regarding the next-generation Xbox requiring an Internet connection at all times, which would serve as a way to stop used games from being played. Because of that, many potential next-generation console consumers have been wondering if the next Xbox or PlayStation will in fact block used games from being played. Last night, the PlayStation 4 was officially announced by Sony, which not only means the next generation of consoles will soon be upon us by holiday 2013, but it also means we could finally put the blocking of used games rumor to bed now that one of the consoles has been announced.

Volkswagen debuts MkVII-based diesel Golf GTD

As Volkswagen prepares for the launch of the seventh-generation Golf, it continues to show off some of the car's different variants. With the standard Golf and the ultra-efficient BlueMotion Concept out of the way, now we're finally starting to see some of the sportier versions planned for the hatchback. Confirmed for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show, Volkswagen has now given us our first glimpse at the Golf GTD. Just think of the GTD as a diesel version of the GTI with all the handling and styling upgrades, and then add a torquey engine to the equation.

HTC announces the HTC One Android smartphone

HTC announces the HTC One Android smartphone

. This morningĂ‚ HTC announced its new flagship smartphone, the HTC One, and boy is it a stunner. Designed with a zero-gap/unibody style sleek aluminum case and a 4.7″ 1080p 468 PPI display, the One looks like an Apple fan's iPhone 6 fantasy. It features a 1.7Ghz quad core Snapdragon processor and will be available in 32GB and 64GB versions. Interestingly enough, the rear camera is only 4 mega pixels. But before you start freaking out, in this case, less is more. Way more. The 4MP camera uses a Ă‚ sensor which is more like a point and shoot camera than a phone camera.

Toyota Auris gets new Touring Sports variant

Toyota Auris gets new Touring Sports variant

Toyota showed off the Touring Sports version of the Auris next to the newly introduced Auris Hybrid at last year's Paris Motor Show, but didn't say much about it. Six months later, just ahead of the Geneva Motor Show, the company is crowing about that wagon going on sale with the Hybrid Synergy Drive, creating the Auris Touring Sports Hybrid. The hauling version of the exceptionally popular Auris hatchback doesn't just add a hybrid wagon to the compact segment, Toyota says it offers class-leading load capacity of 1,658 liters with the Easy-Flat one-touch rear seats down. With the rear seats up, it offers 530 liters.

Fans of the Back to the Future trilogy will be pleased to learn that Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown's modified 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, better known as a time machine, is on display at Universal Studios Hollywood in California after a painstaking museum-quality restoration over the past year. While Universal used a handful of cars during filming from 1985 to 1990, this particular vehicle is referred to as the "Hero A" car, as it was the only Delorean featured in all three films.
