Cruisin Caskets offers a lead sled for the dead (video)

A good Halloween display usually has some of spooky zombie climbing out of a coffin coming back to life, but to be honest, if a car-loving zombie had been buried in a coffin from Cruisin Caskets, they might not be in too big of a rush to haunt the living. Now, we've seen cool car coffins before, but never to this level of detail. With fiberglass bodies inspired by lead sleds from the '50s, these coffins ask, 'If you're going to go, why not go in style?' The base price for a coffin from Cruisin Caskets in $5,500, but like all cars, there are plenty of options to drive the price up.

Process For Defected iPhone 5s Replacement Detailed

A couple of days back we reported that Apple had acknowledged that a limited number of iPhone 5s devices were suffering from battery related issues due to a manufacturing defect. The issue might cause reduced battery life, longer charge time or even failure to charge at all. The company confirmed that it would be providing replacement phones to those affected by the issue, and the folks at 9to5Mac claim to have heard exactly how this process is going to be carried out. Apparently Apple will call up customers who have an iPhone 5s unit that falls within the affected serial numbers to offer them a replacement.

LG Nexus 5 is official, runs Android 4.4 KitKat

The leak storm is finally over, Google has just made the Nexus 5 official. The latest Nexus smartphone is manufactured by LG. It rocks a 4.95" LCD display with 1080p resolution, which adds up to a pixel density of 445 ppi. The good news keeps on coming with the addition of Gorilla Glass 3 for enhanced screen protection.
Inside the Nexus 5 is a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with four Krait 400 cores and Adreno 330 GPU. It's definitely not a slouch with 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat at the driver's seat.

Panasonic's Latest Premium Razor Features Stubble Detector, LCD Display

As a bearded American, being able to keep my facial hair neat and trim is one of my first priorities, right behind wondering if there's any Twinkies residue left in my beard from the night before. When I trim my facial hair, leaving behind stubble is something I certainly don't want as it'll certainly ruin the looking I'm going for. That's why I think I need a Panasonic ES-LV65-S in my life as not only does it have five blades to help trim facial hair, but it also has a built-in sensor that can detect the density of stubble hair, which it can then automatically adjust its motor's speed so its blades can cut through facial hair easier.

Android 4.4 KitKat Could Be Designed For Lower-End Android Devices And Wearables

Google's Android 4.4 KitKat was announced back in September and we expect the platform to see a release any day now. The latest version of Android is expected to be an upgrade over the previous builds of Android, naturally, but is that all there is to it. Well according to former Wall Street Journal report, Amir Efrati, it seems that apart from introducing various upgrades and improvements to the Android operating system, Android 4.4 KitKat could also be the version of Android that Google might use to target lower-end devices as well as wearable electronics, like a Google-made smartwatch for example.

Back then all we knew was that there was an upcoming 12.2-inch slate from Samsung set to sport an Exynos 5 Octa chipset with a 2560 x 1600 pixel display.
Although it was apparently still too early back then for an official announcement at IFA, things have progressed quickly.

According to Motorola, they want to do to hardware, what Android has done to software by creating an open based modular smartphone platform.

The goal is to have 3rd party developers create pieces of a phone that can be decided upon by the user, not unlike what we saw in the Phonebloks concept we showed you a few weeks ago.

Nokia Lumia 1020 price slashed by a third in China

Nokia Lumia 1020 seems to be struggling to make a significant impact on the Chinese market. The first hints that its start was less than impressive was the fact that the phone didn't make it among the most popular WP handsets in the last two months. China is the world's biggest smartphone market for mobile phones and the Lumia 1020 premiered there on the insanely price of CNY5,999 - the equivalent of $1000 or €715. Now, two months later though you can buy the Nokia Lumia 1020 online for 3,999 Yuan or €475.

When the Nokia Lumia 1520 for AT&T was leaked, it revealed that the device would come with what was presumed at that time, a Qi-standard wireless charger built into the device. Unfortunately it was revealed later that not only did AT&T's Lumia 1020 come with only 16GB of default storage, but it also dropped the built-in Qi-standard wireless charging feature. The good news is that if you wanted wireless charging, you still have that option albeit in the form of a wireless charging shell that is from PMA (Power Matters Alliance), which is essentially the Qi standard rival.
