Psst. Remember late last month when we showed you those Japanese magazine scans purporting to show the next Honda Fit. The ones with the markedly more aggressive snout and Cuisinart-blade alloys. Yup, they were the real deal, but they weren't the standard model, they were images of the new Hybrid. We know this because Honda has just released a handful of images and some details on its forthcoming gas-electric hatchback, and the images line up perfectly.

The big story for the third-generation Fit Hybrid will be the fuel economy, naturally.

LG sets 10 million units sales goal for its G2 flagship

LG has very high hopes for its upcoming G2 flagship, and they are not afraid to communicate them internally. According to ETNews, the management set a 10 million unit sales goal for LG G2, which is double of what any previous LG smartphone was able to achieve. (Previously the highest selling LG smartphones were the low-end Optimus L Series, with 5 million units sold worldwide).
LG badly missed the industry switch to Android back in 2010. It took them 2 years of trying before they were able to get back on track.

BBM For Android May Release In September

Earlier this year BlackBerry announced that it would finally be opening up its BlackBerry Messenger service and releasing relevant apps for both iOS and Android. Back then the company said that BBM would be released on both platforms this summer, though they didn't give an exact release time-frame. BlackBerry India MD, Suni Lalvani, reiterated the same in an interview with IBNLive, however upon being asked if BBM for Android will release before the end of September, Lalvani replied in the affirmative.

Since its ignominious departure from the US car market in 2006, there have been any number of on-again/off-again rumors about the Volkswagen Phaeton returning to our shores. With that said, VW's aggressive goals in terms of worldwide sales dominance would seem to countenance all manner of new product; taking a second stab at a halo-luxury car for the US, included. New Google Maps Web App Now Available To All

Google Maps released some big updates for both its Android and iOS applications recently, but today, Google Maps' web application has received its new interface which the company revealed just a few months ago without needing to be invited into the new Google Maps. Google confirmed the wider availability of the new Google Maps web application through the service's official Twitter account saying users will simply sign up to be given instant access. It looks as though Google has yet to officially roll out the new version of Google Maps as when accessing it will redirect you to a preview page for the updated service.

New iPhone 5S might have a 4.3 inch display, launch reportedly delayed

Although we are all expecting Apple's next-generation iPhone to sport a 4 inch display - just like the iPhone 5 - this may not be the case. Bloomberg is citing Chinese newspaper Commercial Times, saying that Apple has changed the design of iPhone 5S "to feature a bigger 4.3-inch retina display." Reportedly, this means the new iPhone will not be released in September or October, as widely anticipated, but a bit later in the fourth quarter of the year.

New Sony Honami photo surfaces, shows camera UI

Following yesterday's specs leak of the upcoming Sony Honami, another image has popped up showing off the new camera interface of the anticipated nextSony flagship. Now the 20MP sensor and the redone camera interface aren't exactly news - the latter is even available for current Xperia flagships via a leaked ROM, but it's the first we see it running on the actual phone. Just Mobile AluCup review

I've always liked the “Apple-esque” design of Apple products and their many accessories. I usually keep an eye out for looking for nice electronic accessories for my home office.  I recently had the chance to review the Just Mobile AluCup which caught my eye due to its sleek design.   There are a few iPhones in my house, so let's see how useful this stand from Just Mobile was.

There's a good chance I'll never live to see the Eiffel Tower in my lifetime, so I find it truly amazing that with just a few clicks, I can take a 360 degree virtual tour of the monument thanks to the power of Google Maps Street View, and the Google Cultural Institute.

BlackBerry A10 to be launched by Verizon, specs leaked

Expected to be released later this year as the successor to the BlackBerry Z10, the BlackBerry A10 has appeared in a leaked photo last week, and now a full list of specs has been also revealed. As already mentioned, the A10 sports a 5 inch display, so it's going to be the largest BlackBerry smartphone ever. Unlike most flagship Android handsets available now, the new BlackBerry won't have a Full HD display, but only an HD (1280 x 720) one.
