ASUS PadFone Mini Is Now Official

ASUS PadFone Mini Is Now Official

It was just late last night when we talked about how ASUS' CEO mentioned that they will make their way to the US market by introducing a new mobile device with a major carrier next year. Well, some of us might not have that kind of patience, which could be why ASUS has also ensured that folks who love all things ASUS get some Yuletide cheer in the form of the ASUS PadFone mini.

New Speck case for the iPad mini with Retina display

New Speck case for the iPad mini with Retina display

If you're giving or getting a new iPad mini with Retina display for the holidays, you're probably thinking about cases for it, too.  Consider the StyleFolio from Speck for a full-body protective case.  The StyleFolio has a “vegan leather” exterior, an anti-scratch interior, and a hard shell to cradle the mini.  It operates as a multi-angle stand for viewing or typing on the mini.  It doesn't have magnets to operate the mini's sleep/wake function; instead, it has a plastic buckle to lock the case closed so you don't have to worry it will pop open in your gear bag.

LG G2 Mini Rumored

LG G2 Mini Rumored

Have you ever wondered as to why certain companies like to roll out a “mini” version of a perfectly fine and working handset. Perhaps it is because they have already done their bit to position the brand of the smartphone in such a way where it might cost even more money to actually start branding a new kind of device, so why not save that dough with some of the work already completed, use a similar looking chassis at a smaller physical form factor with lesser specs, and rely on the same name, except that there is the suffix “mini” behind it.

BioWare Hopes To Share More Mass Effect Details In 2014

The original conclusion of Mass Effect 3 left much to be desired, so much so that the developers had to release an update that extended the ending which hopefully gave players a better conclusion. Now if you were worried that would be the end of the franchise, it's not as BioWare has confirmed that a new Mass Effect game has been planned for either 2014 or 2015.

Cellular Line CRAB Tablet Car Mount, Just Nice!

I have used this poduct for 6 months and I'm happy with it. Only downside is the ball swivel joint not firm enough and drops down slightly to keep the preferred angle of view. This lovely accesory allows me to position my tablet in either landscape or protrait modes and either on my cars windscreen or the dashboard.

Does our government have too much power over our mobile and internet data?

Does our government have too much power over our mobile and internet data?

We are communicating faster, better and more often than ever before. We can thank the internet and mobile communications for most of that, but with such power we must also be more careful. Laws on the matter are still evolving, making our internet/cellphone data the most valuable source of information for our government (and all others across the world). If you think about it, our smartphones and computers know everything about us. More so than even your spouse, sometimes.

Facebook Videos Will Now Autoplay On Mobile

Facebook Videos Will Now Autoplay On Mobile

It was back in September when we first heard that Facebook was silently testing autoplay feature for native videos. Now the world's largest social network is rolling out the feature on mobile. Native Facebook videos will now autoplay on mobile devices, a move that's aimed at increasing interaction with videos uploaded to Facebook. Since the videos will automatically play in-line as users scroll, they won't be locked behind a play button as before.

Mercedes E63 AMG wagon gets 838 hp thanks to Brabus

Mercedes E63 AMG wagon gets 838 hp thanks to Brabus

Generally speaking, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S Wagon is no slouch. It's considerably more sporting than some full-blown sports cars, all while being able to haul the kids to soccer practice or make a quick trip to the grocery store. What if you want more, though. Well, if the E63's 577 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque aren't enough to sate your appetite for power, the team from Brabus is just a phone call away, and now the German tuning house has turned its hand to the E63 Wagon.
