The limited edition white Nexus 4 8GB (with bumper) is no longer available for sale in the Play Store

Well, that didn't take long. Then again, I guess there was never much supply to begin with. In either case, the white Nexus 4 (8GB) is now officially “no longer available for sale” through the Google Play Store. True to its name, Google was always upfront about it's “limited” status, and even though it's possible it could return sans bumper, there's a good chance this will be the last we'll see of the white model in this storage configuration.

No matter. For most, the 8GB version of the Nexus 4 was too limited in storage to be an enticing option for anyone, even at $300.

We've covered many cars from the movies and TV that have made their way to auction (the original Batmobile, good old General Lee and even Bond's iconic Aston Martin DB5), but this one ranks up there among the rarest and coolest. RM Auctions has just announced that the Lotus Esprit submarine car used in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me has been added to the docket for its upcoming auction in London, September 8-9.

If there's one thing gamers enjoy more than playing video games, it's saving money on video games they were already planning on purchasing anyways. We know not everyone can afford a $60+ game on a regular basis, which means buying them used or during sales is the only way most of you get to play the latest and greatest games. If you're an Xbox 360 owner, you'll want to pay close attention to the Xbox Live Marketplace next week as Microsoft has announced they'll be holding its Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale.

Are you the 2014 Honda Fit?

Are you the 2014 Honda Fit?

Despite being the oldest model in North America's subcompact sweepstakes, the current Honda Fit remains a paragon in its segment, offering unparalleled packaging, good road manners and robust reliability. In fact, even with far more modern competitors like the Chevrolet Sonic, Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Accent and Nissan Versa Note on the scene, it may well still be the best of the bunch. All of which explains why we're so nervous about the next-generation model, shown in these apparently leaked stock shots scanned from an in-country magazine (no, that rear end really isn't that wonky, it's the page curl distorting the image).

Inflatable Arm Makes Anti-Bomb Robot Safer And Lighter

I am quite sure that most of us have heard about iRobot, which is the manufacturer of the automated robot vacuum cleaner Roomba, where they want to throw in an inflatable arm and affix it onto military robots so that they are lighter, cheaper, safer, and more agile. Just last week, the Massachusetts-based company did apply for a patent for a new device, in addition to a riff on another one of their robots, which is known as the PackBot. The PackBot happens to be a rugged robot which boasts of an articulated arm that was specially designed for defusing improvised explosive devices (IEDs) as well as for demining purposes.

Verizon's LTE Only Smartphones Expected Late Next Year

Verizon's LTE Only Smartphones Expected Late Next Year

Nicki Palmer, Chief Network Officer at Verizon Wireless, said today that the carrier will offer LTE only smartphones to customers late next year. The revelation was made by Palmer in a conference call with reporters. LTE only smartphones will mean that Verizon will have to get its voice service to run on LTE as well, and the carrier is hopeful that it will be able to do that by next year. Voice over LTE or VoLTE will offer customers additional data services that can be coupled with the voice service and it will also greatly improve call quality. With the declining costs of LTE radios, smartphones are going to get more affordable.
