T-Mobile to bring ‘unlimited any mobile' feature come April 4th

T-Mobile to bring ‘unlimited any mobile' feature come April 4th

. Following Sprint's footsteps, T-Mobile is now planning to introduce unlimited calling to any mobile. Most US citizens already have cellphones, so this pretty much translates to unlimited minutes. According to TmoNews' sources and leaked document, Magenta will be introducing this as an added feature. It will be available beginning April 4th, for an extra cost of $10. As it is a feature, no contract will be required. Another of the benefits may be that customers' overage charges would be substantially decreased, if they get the Unlimited Any Mobile add-on.

New iPad for Sprint seemingly confirmed by Best Buy

A few days ago, when Apple officially announced the new LTE iPad, it said that the tablet would be released in the US via AT&T and Verizon. Sprint was not mentioned - although we all know that the third largest US carrier will also offer LTE services soon (with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus being its first LTE handset). So, is the third-generation iPad not coming to Sprint, just like the first and second-generation did.

Sena iPad 2 Ultraslim (Smartcover) and Kutu Cases Review

Sena iPad 2 Ultraslim (Smartcover) and Kutu Cases Review

Sena makes a full line of iPad 2 cases – the two reviewed here are a “basic sleeve” design, the Ultraslim (Smartcover), and a more substantial “box” design, the Kutu. Both claim to work with an Apple smart cover in place, but in actual use only the Kutu really delivers on that promise. Both cases are made with quality leather that certainly gives your iPad 2 a more upscale, professional look while providing ample protection. The Ultraslim (Smartcover) is pretty much exactly as its name states. It's a sleeve. That's slim. So slim, it's ultra-slim.

Japanese designer Patrick Sung offers a solution to packing all those oddly shaped parcels.  Using square or rectangular boxes means using lots of packing and stuffing, but Sung's Universal Packaging System or UPACKS  uses recyclable corrugated cardboard with triangle perforations, making it easy to wrap your package while still maintaining structural integrity. Not sure if it's a good idea or not.  For one thing you won't be able to stack your packages easily, and it might be a bit hard with the postage labels and how will postal authorities measure their volume? Innovative: yes, practical…..

Verizon to cut 3,000 jobs following call center closures

Verizon to cut 3,000 jobs following call center closures

. Approximately 3,000 people could lose their jobs following the shuttering of Verizon call centers in Texas, Michigan and Washington state. Local ABC affiliate ABC 13 reported on Thursday that up to 1,000 workers may be released as Verizon moves its call center out of the Houston, Texas region. Verizon will close call centers in Michigan and Washington as well, impacting a total of about 3,000 workers. It is unclear if the carrier intends to open new call centers to replace the shuttered facilities, or if it will look to increase head counts at other existing call centers.

According to a tweet from the official Samsung Twitter account, the date was mistakenly posted by Samsung Philippines. So for those of you who were ready to receive the update with arms wide open - it looks like you'll have to play the waiting game again. No new release date was given for the update but let's hope it arrives sooner than later.

Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD For AT&T Passes Through The FCC – Release Imminent?

We haven’t seen or heard very much from the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD aside from its official announcement a few weeks ago. That announcement failed to mention a release date which has left many wondering exactly when the device would drop. Well, the device has finally passed through the FCC today showing off it’s bands and even NFC capabilities. Hopefully, this means a release is just around the corner and for Samsung’s sake, let’s hope it’s before the HTC One X drops.

Accidentally Deleted The Android Market From Your Phone? How To Get It Back [24 People Who Thought They Deleted It]

While on Facebook today, I noticed a few of my friends and family who didn't get the memo that the Android Market had now officially been renamed Google Play and mistakenly assumed they deleted the app from their phone altogether. Needless to say, they were in a bit of distress over the miscommunication. This actually got me wondering how many more people were possibly going through the same thing. A quick search and I noticed there was quite a few.

Google Play Store app updated

Google Play was introduced a couple of days ago, and sure enough the update for the Android Market started rolling out on the same day. However, as some people might have noticed - the update to Google Play broke some versions of MotoBlur, leaving users unable to access the Play Store through the dedicated app store link in the launcher. Well it looks like Google has been quick to its feet and has pushed out another update to the app which that is said to fix that particular problem and all other broken link issues. The update brings the Google Play Store up to version 3.4.7 and doesn't seem to introduce any other new features.

The company neglected to show hard evidence to support its claim, however. Ken Brown, a spokesman for NVIDIA, told ZDNet that while it was “certainly flattering” to be mentioned by Apple, the performance claims are unfounded without more data. “We don't have the benchmark information,” Brown said. “We have to understand what the application was that was used.

Chrysler paid Marchionne nothing in 2011

Chrysler has filed its annual financial report with the Security and Exchange Commission, and a few important tidbits have thus been revealed. For instance, company CEO Sergio Marchionne was paid exactly zero dollars last year in compensation for the role he played in rescuing Chrysler from the clutches of bankruptcy. It's important to note that Chrysler is no longer under restrictions from the U.S. government when it comes to executive pay since the Treasury has sold its entire stake in Chrysler. Still, Chrysler voluntarily decided to limit the compensation of some top executives.

We could tell you more, but that would just ruin the fun.

Specifically, the Post reports that Google has brought on Qatalyst Partners and Barclays Capital to help shop the business around, and the paper's sources say that Google is "highly likely" to sell-off the division, at least partly because cable operators have "shunned" buying Motorola set-top boxes ahead of the acquisition.

Owning a pet dog is definitely fulfilling, as man's best friend knows how to accompany you whenever you feel down and the whole world is collapsing around you, offering a tummy rub to brighten up your day. However, there are those of us who hate cleaning up after our pets, which is why a robotic dog like the discontinued Sony Aibo makes for an alternative choice. The Aibo came in a shiny package, and definitely lacked the fur that a real dog has, but all of that might change in the future with the introduction of what is known as ‘smart fur'.
