Amazon has launched the Kindle MatchBook service

Amazon has launched the Kindle MatchBook service

A couple months ago, we told you about Amazon's new Kindle MatchBook service, which will give you access to eBook versions of paper books you bought from them in the past.  Whether you bought them years ago or last week, you can get the eBook version for no more than $2.99, and some may be free – if they are on the eligible list at all.  You'll be able to search your purchase history to find the books that are eligible.  I've been buying from Amazon from almost the first day they were open for business, and I've bought lots of books from them.
