When it comes to tablets, French manufacturer Archos is not left behind the game with their offerings to date, although they haven't really made a meal out of it. The Archos Gen9 tablets have yet to roll out as those will sport Android 3.1 Honeycomb, but that doesn't mean the engineers over at Archos have been doing nothing – no sir, they did work on a software update for Gen8 tablets that were released in 2010. The latest software update will target the Archos 28, 32, 43, 70, and 101 tablets, where all of them are still running on Android 2.2 Froyo.
