Sprint might become the third US mobile carrier to officially offer Apple's iPhone, following AT&T and Verizon (which started selling a CDMA version of the smartphone earlier this year). According to The Wall Street Journal, “people familiar with the matter” (yes, those proverbial and always anonymous people) said the iPhone 5 would become available at Sprint in mid-October. Apparently, Sprint will also sell the iPhone 4 (maybe that rumored 8GB version) in addition to the new iPhone 5.
