The PowerShot SX170 IS is another newly unveiled superzoom digital camera from Canon that sports a 16MP 1x2.3″ CCD image sensor, a 28mm wide-angle lens, a 16x optical zoom lens, a 3.0-inch 230K-dot LCD monitor, Canon's DIGIC 4 Image Processor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, an HDMI port and 720p HD video recording capabilities. The PowerShot SX170 IS will be available in September for $179.99.
