Last week, we were tipped off to a forthcoming soak test for Verizon's Motorola DROID Maxx, DROID Ultra and DROID Mini. Said update is looking to fix the same camera issues that the Moto X suffered before getting its first update. Verizon's changelog only mentions “improvements for camera quality,” but if the Moto X update is anything to go by then that should specifically mean improved HDR performance, faster shutter and better focusing. Beyond all that, this update will give DROID owners a promotion offer for 50GB of free Google Drive storage, something I'm sure tons of folks wouldn't mind snapping up.
