I think the Smart Covers Apple sells simply do not do their iPads justice. To create such a great tech-sexy piece of hardware only to cover/protect its screen with plastic is just tragic… and to charge $40 for it to boot. Well, as the story goes, I was dancing the Net looking for a worthy and unique leather alternative, and I came across the MakeThingsBetter page on Etsy.  It not only caught my attention enough to look through the site but write this up AND also add the Game of Thrones “Winter is Coming” iPad mini Smart Cover to my Christmas wish list.
