Canon Announces Pixma Pro-1 Photo Printer

Canon Announces Pixma Pro-1 Photo Printer

Canon has announed its latest photo printer during a media event in New York. The Pixma Pro-1, according to Canon, is the “world's first A3+ printer with 12 separate inks.”. The printer comes with 12 ink cartridges: the Photo and Matte black inks, three gray inks of different shades, Cyan, Photo Cyan, Magenta, Photo Magenta, Yellow, and Red. Do not feel worried about having to replace cartridges very often, as the ink tanks are 2.5 times larger than from older Pixma models. It is also more advanced to the previous Pixmas because of its double the amount of input resolution at 1,200 dots per inch.
