Several days ago we reported that a port for Android's Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 had made its way onto the first ever Google Nexus device, the Nexus One. Unfortunately it appeared that the port looked a bit laggy on the Nexus One, but still looked passable, giving those still on the Nexus One device hope that perhaps Google will be releasing an official Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update for their device. The bad news is that that won't be happening. According to Google's product management director for Android, Hugo Barra, the Google Nexus One will not be receiving the update after all.
