Stolen Samsung AMOLED Technology Sold to Rival, 11 Arrested

11 suspects have been arrested and charged with crimes related to the alleged theft of AMOLED display technology currently under development at Samsung, South Korea. A news report on Thursday revealed that 11 suspects all of which were employees of Samsung formerly and currently have been arrested in relation to this theft. One 46-year-old researched at Samsung is reported to have accepted a payment of nearly $170,000 from a "local rival" which is unnamed in exchange for trade secrets pertaining to private Samsung technology that is used in its AMOLED panels.
